Job Role: Back end typescript developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Back end typescript developer with 5+ years of experience in backend application development, specializing in TypeScript, GraphQL, and database management. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable APIs, implementing business logic, optimizing database performance, and ensuring secure and reliable backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript.

• Design, implement, and manage GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and resolvers.

• Integrate backend services with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Design database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.

• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and API security.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and improve application scalability.

• Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and deployment activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL APIs, schemas, resolvers, and API integration.

• Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

• Experience with database design, query optimization, indexing, and transactions.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, testing frameworks, and backend security best practices.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.

• Proven hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and database integration.

• Ability to build, optimize, and maintain scalable backend services.
